SkaterAid decks are up!

I blogged about the awesomeness that is SkaterAid a while ago, and I’m happy to report this year’s crop of skate deck art is up and showing at Decatur’s Brick Store Pub! There are some amazing works this go-round, and you’ll be hard-pressed to pick just one to bid on. That’s right, the auction starts online this year in order to jumpstart the fundraising–and competitive spirit–for the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children. On September 25th, the IRL auction will continue at the SkaterAid event at East College Station where the parking lot is converted to a skatepark, young garage bands perform, and general merriment and mayhem ensue. It’s a good time, folks, and an even better cause! In the meantime, though, check out some most artistic creative reuse and get thee biddin’!

Shameless plug: Deck C-14 was made by continual WRCR volunteer (and spouse), Tim Ensor. Show some love, hm?
